Call for Papers

We are soliciting original papers from the fields of control and operation of accelerators, detectors, telescopes, fusion devices, nuclear reactors, and other large experimental facilities.

The scientific program will consist of invited talks, selected oral posters, and poster presentations. All contributed papers are to be submitted presuming poster presentation. From these the ICALEPCS 2003 Program Committee will select papers suitable for oral poster presentation, based on submitted abstracts.

Since contributions are not accepted for publication only, any paper accepted for presentation that is not presented at the conference will be excluded from the proceedings. Furthermore, the ICALEPCS 2003 Program Committee reserves the right to refuse to publish any papers not properly presented in the poster sessions.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission

An abstract is a concise summary of a paper. It should describe the paper and include a statement of the issue, research methods, and significant findings. Abstracts should be written as one continuous paragraph.

Deadlines

The deadline for the submission of abstracts to ICALEPCS2003 is April 15, 2003. Notification of the acceptance of contributions for presentation at the conference will be made in late May 2003. Authors wishing to submit post-deadline abstracts should make requests via the Conference Secretariat.
Special Characters
Since electronic submission over the Web does not allow a simple, straightforward system that would allow the use of Greek symbols, superscripts, or subscripts, authors are encouraged to avoid their use.
Classification of Abstracts
Authors are reminded to indicate the correct category for their abstracts. This will ensure that, if accepted for presentation, the paper will be correctly placed within the conference program. Please consult the classification categories listed (not yet).
Presenter
It is assumed that the first author will present the paper if it is selected. If a person other than the first author is to present the paper, then this should be mentioned.
